Our Philosophy

Here at Somerville Swim School, we are committed and passionate about providing the very best in learn to swim instruction. We believe that building a personal rapport with children and their families is paramount to gaining the confidence and trust needed for students to get the very most out of their swimming lessons. When you walk through the door at Somerville Swim School, you become part of our community and we place upmost importance on you and your child feeling welcome and cared for.

Our curriculum provides an all-encompassing view of learning to swim and essential water safety skills. These are skills for life; and fostering the confidence to develop these skills in a supportive, caring environment is what we pride ourselves on. Our lessons are provided by highly trained teachers who are as invested in your child's progression as you are. We love to see our students succeed and we celebrate all their milestones, however big or little!
