Otter Seven
Our Otter Seven class is the final level in our program and focuses on advanced stroke correction and building endurance. The freestyle and backstroke strokes are fine-tuned, and the full breaststroke and butterfly strokes are taught. Survival skills are extended in both time and distance. Upon graduating from Otter Seven, your child will be ready to join a pre-squad or junior squad program at another facility.
Otter Seven are:
- Advanced stroke development
- Group classes with a maximum of 4 students
- Skill based progression
What do our Otter Seven students learn?
- Endurance in all strokes
- Fine tuning of freestyle and backstroke
- Full breaststroke
- Butterfly
- Correct streamline push offs and correct finishes
When I graduate from Otter Seven:
- I am a very confident swimmer
- I can swim freestyle continuously for 120m
- I can swim backstoke continuously for 120m
- I can swim breaststroke with correct timing for 60m
- I can swim butterfly with correct timing for 30m
- I can swim an individual medley for 60m (Backstoke, Butterfly, Breaststroke, Freestyle)
- I can perform a survival sequence for 5 minutes
